Vinod is the Group Product Manager for Dropbox's Intelligence Group - focused on Search Infrastructure, Data Platform and Machine Learning.   Prior to Machine Intelligence, Vinod worked on Dropbox's Pro / SMB product group where he led the creation of Dropbox Professional.    

Vinod joined Dropbox as a result of the acquisition of Clementine Labs - a pioneering secure mobile communications startup for enterprises where he was Founder & CEO.   Clementine was created while he was Entrepreneur-in-Residence at Redpoint Ventures & he continues to serve as an Advisor to a variety of startups in fields ranging from mobile, to Enterprise SaaS, to Computer Vision. Before Redpoint, he was the Chief Marketing Officer & VP/Product at Roundbox Inc which was ultimately acquired by AT&T.   He previously led product management at Onebox.com which was acquired by Openwave where he held key product marketing and management roles in several initiatives within the company. He began his career at Microsoft as a program manager, working on Windows NT and the early Internet server group, at the height of the Internet browser wars. Mr. Valloppillil has multiple patents awarded and pending in the areas of wireless and Internet technology.
