Annie Michels is the Findability program lead at EY. She plays a pivotal role in the re-platforming of Enterprise Search from SharePoint to ElasticSearch, by coordinating efforts between product owners, development teams, and knowledge managers to enhance search result relevance.

Her expertise in knowledge management, and information architecture ensures a comprehensive approach to search relevance tuning and testing. A background in library science and linguistic anthropology, allows her to offer a unique perspective to the field.  She ensures fundamentals such as taxonomy and master data management strategies, which influence indexing and data field selection for relevance tuning, are appropriately leveraged during ingest and retrieval processes.
